To date significant resources from a strong partnership of public and private entities have been committed to the project, including:

CITY OF SIOUX CITY

Commitment to lease city-owned land for the construction of the facility and $2 million in financial assistance.

WOODBURY COUNTY

Commitment of $1.5 million in financial assistance.

MISSOURI RIVER HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT (MRHD)

Commitment of $1 million in financial assistance.

GILCHRIST FOUNDATION

Provided two separate grants totaling $200,000 to assist with the architectural concept, facility design, and capital campaign.

IEDA BROWNFIELD/GRAYFIELD PROGRAM

 The project has received a $1 million grayfield grant towards construction costs. 

IOWA REINVESTMENT DISTRICT PROGRAM

IEDA has granted approval with a commitment of $6.5 million in District generated funds available for the project.

IOWA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

The project received a Water Quality Initiative Grant from the Iowa Department of Agriculture for environmental improvements and best practices.

PRIVATE SECTOR

Various businesses and individuals have committed $3 million in financial assistance to the project, including a $500,000 contribution from MidAmerican Energy and a $400,000 contribution from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City.
